holiday styling terms & conditions

these terms apply to all bookings made through the holiday styling service offered by lovie + sons flower co. by purchasing a package, you agree to the following terms.

booking & payment

full payment is required at the time of booking. your preferred installation date must be submitted with your order and is subject to availability and confirmation by lovie + sons flower co.

purchasing a package does not guarantee your preferred date until it has been confirmed. if your requested date is unavailable, we will contact you to arrange an alternative date or discuss a refund.

each package includes the styling elements and installation outlined in its description. requests that fall outside the selected package may require an additional fee, which will be discussed and approved before any additional work is undertaken.

cancellations & refunds

we understand that plans can change. cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email 2 weeks prior to your install date.

if you cancel your booking, any refund will take into account work already completed, materials purchased or committed, and other non-recoverable costs incurred specifically for your booking. any remaining refundable balance will be returned to the original method of payment.

the amount refundable will depend on the timing of your cancellation and the costs already incurred. we will provide a breakdown of any deductions where applicable.

if lovie + sons flower co. is unable to fulfil your booking, we will contact you to discuss an appropriate resolution, which may include an alternative date or a refund for services that cannot be provided.

nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.

rescheduling

requests to change your installation date must be made in writing and are subject to availability.

we will do our best to accommodate date changes, but alternative dates cannot be guaranteed. additional costs may apply where a change results in extra travel, labour, material purchases, or other expenses. any additional charges will be communicated before proceeding.

design & seasonal materials

all holiday styling is created using seasonal flowers, foliage, branches, and decorative materials. availability may vary throughout the season, and specific varieties, colours, and decorative elements cannot always be guaranteed.

substitutions may be made where necessary to accommodate availability while maintaining the overall design and value of the selected package.

your package is designed around the agreed scope and investment level. exact materials, quantities, and compositions may vary according to seasonal availability and the requirements of your space.

installation & access

clients are responsible for ensuring that the installation area is accessible, safe, and ready at the agreed time. please advise us in advance of any access restrictions, building requirements, parking limitations, or other relevant details.

additional visits, waiting time, installation delays caused by circumstances outside our control, or changes requested on the day may incur additional charges. any additional costs will be discussed before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

please ensure that surfaces and installation areas are suitable for the intended styling. clients are responsible for advising us of any relevant restrictions or concerns regarding walls, fireplaces, fixtures, furniture, or other surfaces.

delivery area

this holiday styling service is available in halifax and dartmouth, nova scotia. delivery and installation within the agreed service area are included where specified in the selected package.

installations outside this area are not included in this offering but can be added for an additional delivery fee. please contact us before purchasing if you are unsure whether your address falls within the service area.

care & longevity

fresh flowers, evergreens, and natural botanical materials are perishable. their appearance and longevity depend on the varieties selected, indoor temperature, humidity, light, placement, and care.

we cannot guarantee a specific lifespan for natural materials. once the installation has been completed, ongoing care and maintenance are the client's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

photography & privacy

we respect the privacy of our clients and their homes. photographs of completed installations may be taken for documentation purposes. images will not be used publicly in our portfolio, on social media, or in marketing materials without your permission.

please let us know in advance if you have any specific privacy concerns relating to your installation.
